TEST PAGE - NOT PUBLIC

Platforms like Facebook and Twitter (X) are walled gardens, locking in your data.

What if you could set it free on the open web?

Welcome to the Cultural Memory System (CMS) Test Page

Thank you for being part of our CMS prototype. These forms are designed to collect information from artists, promoters, venues and gig organisers to help build a shared cultural archive.

ABOUT

By contributing, you will begin to see how your occasions connect to each other, to venues, to artists, and to wider cultural movements. It offers a new way to trace the relationships and significance of what you do.

The CMS you are testing here is designed to open up the future of your events.

FOR YOU

It will support new merchandise and marketing opportunities, help you archive and share stories, and keep your event data in a clean, structured format. Most importantly, your data remains yours. It is not locked in by the Fourth Portal and can be used with any new technology you choose.

Please note:

Most fields are optional. You are welcome to provide as much or as little information as you wish.

Submissions are processed automatically.

This stage is focused on testing our backend to check whether data appears as it is entered.

The next stage will see us return your input as clean, computer-readable structured information.

Depending on how many boxes you complete, we may also be able to show you a knowledge graph that links your events to others submitted through this page.

These are early days, so some parts may still feel rough around the edges.

If you encounter any issues or have feedback, please let us know.

More information:

The box colours are deliberate. We are exploring whether assigning colours to types of activity or grouping will be useful when seeking information later.

We are very aware of challenges around concentration, dyslexia and disability within the creative and live sectors, which can make reading information difficult.

A key aim of the Cultural Memory System is to offer content in multiple forms or formats to help make it more accessible.
