Portal A status updated June 2021
In January 2020, Portal A was the first Fourth Portal, a hub for demonstrating new technology focused around the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Using creative methods built up over the past 20 years by Platform-7 Events. Portal A was to become a relaxed social space where customers could work, shop and enjoy fine coffee, teas and non-alcoholic cocktails while learning about the latest innovations and watching the emergence of a hybrid environment. With the pandemic outbreak during the winter, development was paused and eventually abandoned in February 2021.

An array of <0.5% spirits, wine and beers, with fast broadband makes for an alternative haven for locals, entrepreneurs, businesspeople, students and visitors to work or study while developing new business models and encountering like minded people.
Gallery
A gallery and event space dedicated to new technologies, environment and entrepreneurship with particular focus on the role of sound, audio and acoustics and the career and business opportunities this area offers.
Events
Talks, demonstrations and symposiums introduce some of the latest technologies, innovations and masterclasses. Advice will be available for entrepreneurs and those seeking a career change or education pathway into engineering, science and associated fields.
