Hypermedia is becoming one of the most talked about events in SE England, with DIY poetry, spoken word, music, open mic, visuals, artist talks and discussion. Curated by Gravesend's Hypermedia

Everyone, including babies and dogs welcome.

Covid-19 has been difficult for all enterprises, new and mature, particularly those in the arts, events and hospitality. Fourth Portal crosses all three of these sectors and as an event led operation it has been all but impossible during 2020. The decision has been taken not to open Portal A and reduce Portal B to a standalone bar operation until further notice. October 2020.

In comes Luna, pushing her pram all alone. She parked her pram and went upstairs to chill with a book on the bed. Mum and Nan arrive to say Luna decided she wanted to return to the Fourth Portal

Darren brought Jack and Jasmine from Jasmine to enjoy the fair and see the Fourth Portal. The children decided to spend more time in the Fourth Portal :)

Yunus, Aliyah, Abdul found the Fourth Portal amazing and Addul bought himself the Compact Etymological Dictionary from our bookshelf, which will prove useful when he starts Oxford studying Classics.

Gravesend fire eater Rebecca, who is off to Glastonbury to perform, stumbled on the Fourth Portal with local creative Jasmin who styles hair in the town. They both embraced the concept and the vibe before enjoying our CBD drinks sitting by the beach.

Tia, Ellise, Olivia, Chloe, Nula, Jorja and Dylan are a growing band of teenagers returning to the Fourth Portal.

Bright has been working at the Fourth Portal over the last week to gain work experience within an artistic environment as part of his final Fine Art degree year assessment.

Darren took a few visits before finally deciding that the Kingfisher print by artist Kevin Gavaghan was certainly for his living room wall.
